NEW PANTEG UNDER 11s hosted a mixed aged Bargoed in an entertaining match with both sides working hard to win. The hosts fought hard in the centre of the pitch with the whole team working together to push up field and all their hard work nearly paid off with them just falling short on three separate occasions. But it was the visitors who would score first with Owen Bennett squeezing through the middle to place the ball just over the try line. The visitors would score a second minutes later with some missed tackles on the wing for Cameron Nichols to run down the line and score.

New Panteg never gave up and came back strongly with some outstanding drives forward eventually getting the ball out to the wing with some neat passes for Aaron King to go over in the corner just before half time. In the second half New Panteg came out feeling confident, with the forwards making big strong runs down the center, and all of them working together helping each other move further down field. It all paid off when all the backs combined together, sending the ball out to the wing Joshua Travers to use his blistering pace and run down the line to level the scores. Bargoed seemed to pick themselves up and would eventually score their third and winning try with Cameron Nichols going over for his second of the game.

FINAL SCORE NEW PANTEG 14 BARGOED 19.

Try scores Aaron King and Joshua Travers Owen Bennett and Cameron Nichols 2 conversions Joshua Travers 2 Cameron Nichols 2. Man of the match for New Panteg was Cory Loader and for Bargoed was Cameron.
