WELCOME TO NEW PANTEG RUGBY FOOTBALL CLUB.
Welcome to the website for New Panteg RFC. We are a small friendly yet ambitious club steeped in local history with strong links to the local communities. We are situated on the southern edge of Pontypool in between the villages of New Inn and Griffithstown.
Here at Jarrolds Fields, we have some of the best facilities in the area, with two rugby pitches, four football pitches, a floodlit training area, four new changing rooms and a gymnasium.
The Clubhouse is the centre of our club with a lounge, function room and sports bar, all with Sky Sports on large TV's. The function room is regularly used by local community groups, as well as hosting special events such as weddings, engagements and birthday parties. We also play host to 'THE BOROUGH BLUES CLUB' and their monthly blues night. The sports bar can be used as a meeting or conference room as well as containing a pool table and two dart boards which are used by the ladies darts team who play in the local Torfaen darts league.
We also run large events such as the annual 'PONTYFELIN SEVENS' and the RAF U15's rugby tournament.
Our aim is for this site to be the focal point for all the activities and sports that go on here at the club and grounds.
We are developing the club and teams all the time and with the 1stXV playing in the WRU Division 6 league, the youth and the Mini/Juniors developing new players, the future is certainly looking bright.
